1. Have the wedding ceremony and venue in one place. This cuts the costs of having to have wedding cars to transport between the two places. Cutting a cool £1,000 or so off your wedding bill!
2. The wedding ceremony in the venue rather than a church save the cost of buying extra wedding flowers for the church.
3. Also having the ceremony at the venue means church fees (in addition to registrar fees which are payable in any event) are avoided. Church fees can be a few hundred!
4. If you need wedding cars can you use your own car or someone elses? Buy a rosette and ribbons kit and decorate your car for about £10 instead. This often looks just as good.
